Ducks in a row – Peking Duck in Beijing


Ducks are hung to dry as part of the Traditional preparation for the roasted Peking Duck dish or “Kaoya” (Roast Duck) in Chinese.

Crispy Duck slices are wrapped in thin pancakes along with cucumber & spring onion battens, and some Hoisin sauce.

The taste is a delight and seeing Ducks hanging around the local markets is a great memory to have.
